Have fun!Īnother question you may ask now, is that "Can I play custom boards on Wiimmfi?" And the answer is "Yes, totally!"įirst, make sure everyone has the custom board, otherwise the game will crash for those that don't have it. After this, go to the board you paved over, it should be there. Then, simply load riivolution up, have it enabled, and launch the game. Make a template for it(I'm not sure if I am allowed to give mine away), and place the new board in the folder you made the template point to. So now, you may ask, how do we play our new board? Well first, we need a softmodded wii with riivolution on it. Make sure to also include the extension(.frb) otherwise it will not work! When you click on save, name it after the board you edited. Anyway, here's one that I made in the editor, if you are curious: Please check it after you autopathed the board. Also, autopath may screw up the routing of the paths. I haven't tried buying it in such a district, but I assume it crashes the game. If there's one missing(what I mean by this is that if there is no district with id5 between 4 and 6, or any id, it will kinda break the game), the game will show the district at 1gold for stock. A big note: Make sure that there are no districts missing. When you have shaped your board, press "autopath" on the top and then click "verify board." If it says "board good," then your board is ready to be played. The 16 and 32 are for squares that are connected, but not in a line, so you can make diagonal paths and stuffs. If you are tying to link squares, press "snap 64 pixels" when they are close to each other(if it is to far away it may link to another square) to make them exactly next to each other. You can add new squares too, just make sure you set it by clicking on a square type in the top right of the editor. So, from there, you can left click squares to see some info's about it(the cost, value, district, etc) and right click to move it around the board.
